How this tool works
Annual saved kWh = (old W − new W) × hours/day × days/year ÷ 1,000. Payback years = extra purchase cost ÷ annual saving. Price scenarios use 75%, 100% and 125% of your price.

Power is an average draw, not necessarily the label maximum. Operating hours and appliance lifetime are user assumptions. No inflation, financing or maintenance difference is included.
Negative savings mean the new appliance consumes more under these inputs.
